My old Company Glidewell has suddenly so little work that all Technician's are working now half a day Monday-Thursday from 8:00 -12:00. Tomorrow nobody needs to come in.
All people that have been in training in the "Education" department have been laid off today.
No more need for new Technicians, no more work.
Wolfgang and Mark Baker (the guy that did buy my Suzuki Waterbuffalo) both worked already the entire week from home.
Neither one of them knows whether they will be paid in full or less. All bonus pays have been suspended as of Monday until further notice.
This is not a good sign.
Even a big company like Glidewell can not sustain a long time with very little work. They need to produce to have cash flow to pay the morgage for the many buildings they have otherwise they could go belly up. I am sure You agree with me that the Corona Virus problem will not go away soon.
Going to the Dentist is the last thing on peoples mind right now.
